The Volley Tot and Little Spiker programs will begin on Sunday, Feb. 19th, 2012 and continue for 6 weeks, ending on Sunday, March 25th, 2012. All practices will be on Sundays at Turnstone, 3320 North Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. The cost for the 6-week session is $60, which can be paid during check-in at the first session. Please make checks payable to "N3 Volleyball". All players will also receive an N3 T-Shirt for their participation. Turnstone is located just behind the Fire Police City County Federal Credit Union on Clinton Ave just south of Glenbrook Mall. Please come a few minutes early to the first session in order to check-in. Registration is now open: REGISTER NOW WEATHER Practices will only be canceled if there is a level 2 Snow Emergency in Fort Wayne. However, if weather conditions in your area prohibit safe travel, players should NOT go to practice or club activities. Players are required to contact their coaches by phone or e-mail to report the absence. If the weather is severe we may cancel the practice or club activity and post this information to the club website no later than one hour prior to the start of practice. Please check the website prior to leaving for your practice, tournament or club activity OR call your coach. Meet the Team Night is a mandatory meeting where we will be covering general club policies, uniform sizing for players, practice and tournament scheduling and getting everyone an opportunity to meet your team (players, parents, coaches). Please take some time over the next week to compile your winter/spring schedules, so we can attempt to schedule around any major conflicts. We will also be taking volunteers to serve as Parent Reps to help with the communication between coaches, staff and parents/players. We would like for all players to attend with at least 1 parent/guardian. If you can NOT attend please e-mail director@n3vc.com.
The next formal club activity after "Meet the Team Night" will be team practices starting the first full week in January. Practice schedules will be posted to the website in late December. REMINDER: Once a player accepts a position with N3, we will need for you to mail a $200 deposit (which is credited toward your club fees) made payable to N3 Volleyball, 4420 N. Washington Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46804 by Sunday, November 27th. Also, please place your daughter's name and age group in the memo section of your check. WAITLIST If there are any players that were not able to attend tryouts or that were not selected to a team, you may request to be put on a waitlist by sending an e-mail to director@n3vc.com with "Wait List" in the subject line. TRYOUTS COMPLETED We have completed our tryouts for the upcoming season. We appreciate everyone's interest this season and are excited about the talent level across all age groups and are looking forward to another successful upcoming season. We would also like to thank the coaching staff for their hard work over the past few weeks and the members of the N3 board and support staff. We will be contacting players by phone or e-mail to offer positions, as we are aware that many have deadlines to make decisions with other clubs that are fast approaching. Our goal is to have everyone notified by Sunday, November 13th. After tryouts and team selection, we will host a "Meet The Team Night", where we get all of the players, parents and coaches together to go over club policies/procedures, get players sized for uniforms, have an opportunity to meet coaches and teammates, determine any specific conflicts for practice times and tournament dates. The season will begin with practices in early January, and tournaments beginning in late January/early February. Most teams will practice 2-3 times per week and compete in a tournament every 3-5 weeks with the season ending in early May to late June depending on each team level and whether they qualify for U.S. Junior Olympic Championships or AAU Nationals in late June. If you are new to the club, you are welcome to click on Club Info for additional details and to learn more about the club experience and N3 Volleyball.
